The Johnston County Health & Wellness Committee is hosting an upcoming luncheon! Johnston County OSU Extension Agent, Keegan Varner, will be presenting information on basic gardening techniques for containers and raised beds, as well as how to select and keep healthy soil. Laura Wood will follow up with information on the local Farmer’s Market and how you can turn your garden into a money-making business, May-October 2021. Registration is free and a fresh lunch of chicken salad sandwiches on Kings Hawaiian rolls, pinto bean salad and fruit will be provided.
