Meet at the Johnston County Library at 6:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday May 2,

– Tishomingo is officially a Monarch Pledge City. Find out what that means.  Join us in support of the mission to restore butterfly populations, beautify our city, and find out how native plants give back to those who plant them.

At this workshop Learn:

  • About Oklahoma’s Native plants and why they are so important
  • To harvest and prepare native seed
  • To beautify your yard & community with “carefree” native wildflowers and other plants.
  • To identify plants that attract specific butterflies
  • About other organizations, community partners and events to support your gardening hobby.

Get free posters, seeds, & plants, engage the concept of starting a Tishomingo garden club, enroll to become a Master Gardener and so much more.

Plants and seedlings may also be available for purchase following the presentation
