Junior Chamber
About - Junior Chamber Program
The Johnston County Chamber of Commerce is excited to launch the second year of the Junior Chamber program. This program involves Johnston County's best students in community events, gives them opportunities to meet with county leaders, and teaches them the value of community involvement, volunteerism, and chambers of commerce.
The Junior Chamber program is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors enrolled in Johnston County, OK school districts. Accepted students will meet the second Wednesday of every other month at 4:30 p.m. to discuss upcoming events, fundraising, and discuss current events affecting our communities and how the group can help solve problems. Graduating seniors will be eligible to submit an essay to receive a scholarship to help with continuing their education!
The Junior Chamber Program is meant to be fun, yet educational, giving students an opportunity to network with peers from across the county and serve their overall community. We believe that this program helps to extend the reach of the Chamber to the youth who will one day be leading our businesses, towns, and county. We hope that you will be a part of it!
