Ribbon Cutting at the new Tishomingo Fire Station a Success!

Saturday morning, October 7th, the Johnston County Chamber assisted Gary Deaton and his fire department staff and volunteers in officially opening the new Tishomingo Fire Station. This opening marked the completion of phase one of construction. Justin Murray gave a tour of the facility following the ‘caution tape cutting’, explaining that there is more work to be done to make the seamless transition from the South Capitol facility to the new one just south of The Rose Petal. Again, we would like to offer a heartfelt congratulations to all who made the construction of the new facility possible, and thank Mr. Murray for his coordination efforts so that we could be a part of the big day.
