Simply Safe’s positive attitude is contagious – Published in the May 17-23 edition of the JC Sentinel
This week’s Spotlight is on business member, Simply Safe of Tishomingo! Simply Safe is a locally-owned drug, alcohol and DNA collection agency that opened in July of 2015. They keep an average of 5 employees on staff and are state and DOT certified. Jason & Angie and Kevin & Amy Morgan’s business offers a comprehensive, safe and highly controlled collection process with on-site and mobile services that are available 24/7. They strive to make your drug and alcohol testing program as streamlined, organized, accurate and cost effective as possible.
I remember when I first met Amy and Angie – they joined the Chamber in September of last year and have such positive attitudes that are contagious, with strong business minds and goals for growing and meeting the needs of companies in our area. There is no job to big or to small and they understand the busy schedules of employers, making the process as quick and simple as can be. Why go to a company out of our area that won’t remember your name when you can employ a neighbor, a local, a professional business right here in Johnston County? Learn more about Simply Safe by calling 580-379-0097 or stopping by 504 E. 24th Street in Tishomingo!

A few things coming up include the Johnston County Historical Society’s day to bring in documents and photos to be copied and added to genealogy collections for research – that event is Saturday, May 19 from 9:00-4:00. The Johnston County Riding Club will be hosting a PlayDay on Saturday as well, beginning at 10:00 AM at the MSC Equestrian Center. At 1:00 PM will be a Chickasaw Finger Weaving class at the Chickasaw Council House Museum. There is limited seating so call 580-371-3351 to register.
Monday, the 21st, the Southern Oklahoma Alzheimers/Dementia Support Group will meet at the Library at 5:30 PM and the next regularly scheduled Tishomingo City Council meeting will be at 7:00 that evening.
The Johnston County Chamber office will be closed on Monday, May 28th in honor of Memorial Day. We would like to welcome Encore Mechanical and Blue River RV Park to the Chamber Membership! Encore Mechanical is a locally-owned heat and air business, and Blue River RV Park is located between Tishomingo and Milburn with 55 full-service RV hook ups. We hope to host grand opening ceremonies for each in the near future. Until next week…
