Johnston County Chamber of Commerce to Host First Annual Student Scarecrow Contest

The Johnston County Chamber of Commerce has organized a new, fun, community-involved event to usher in the holiday season. Johnston County student organizations are encouraged to submit a homemade scarecrow to win cash and prizes, that will be displayed on Main Street in Tishomingo (unless otherwise requested). Member businesses who would like to help sponsor the event and receive advertising should contact the Chamber at 580-371-2175.

We think this will be a great team-building exercise for the student groups and will help Main Street look festive for the fall season! Please see official rules for details!
